Once upon a time, Ariel got dumped - on Valentine's Day no less. Hannah, her big sister, was determined to lift her spirits from afar, so she set out to send Ariel a personal care package full of her favorite things.

What started as a simple gesture quickly turned into a stressful retail marathon- hours of sifting through boring gifts, driving to several stores, and one truly miserable experience at the post office later, Hannah questioned: Is it possible to buy 100% personalized care packages online? And just like that, Happy Box was born! 700,000+ gifts later, Ariel's heartache was totally worth it.
