Last week, we hit pause on emails, gift box-building, and campaign brainstorming to spend a full day together — IRL!

We kicked things off the only way we know how: with coffee, bagels, and a whole lot of laughter at our Happy Box warehouse in North Bergen, NJ. For some of our fully remote teammates, it was their first time ever seeing the warehouse — the heart of all the gifting magic. Getting to walk them through where all the boxes are packed, the cards are handwritten, and the confetti actually flies was such a full-circle moment.

After the grand tour, we all hopped on the train into New York City for a surprise adventure - a Tea Around Town bus tour! Picture this: a double-decker bus decked out in floral decor, afternoon tea service, pastries, and the best skyline views. It was equal parts adorable and surreal.

The rest of the day was pure NYC fun - strolling the streets, popping into shops, eating all the things, and just soaking up time together. This was especially magical because some of our team members had never been to NYC before!

For a team that spends most days miles apart, this day was everything - good food, great laughs, and the reminder that even in between the hustle, there’s always room for a little fun.

We came back recharged, inspired, and probably still full from all those pastries. 💕
