Fall is gratitude season!

And as we enter fall, we see SO many many requests for thank you gift ideas for neighbors, teachers, nannies, clients, friends, and employees, so here are three fool-proof tips for a killer "Thank You" gift this season.

1. Include a handwritten message or note. It sounds obviously, but it's a lost art! And don't just sign your name - take a few minutes to think about a note that says more than a simple 'thank you.' For example, explain what it meant to have their help, support - sending a few lines of handwriting to a friend, client, partner is truly a lost art  - it shows you value the person, relationship and really appreciate them.  
   
   
2. Pair a nice "thank you" note with something that's a crowdpleaser. To be honest for this particular gift occasion, you don't have to get super creative - so don't stress. For "thank you" gifts, it's much more the gesture of the thank you (& definitely the card/note!) that REALLY matters. So go with something that they would like, but maybe wouldn't spend - or splurge - on. This season, you can't go wrong with: a luxe candle, extra plushy blanket, a heated neck wrap, self-heating travel mug, or gourmet artisan chocolates or treats.
   
   
3. Want to get fancy? If you can, personalize the gift to them somehow. Think: embroidered kitchen apron with their name if they like to cook - or get them something in their favorite sports teams' colors (and make sure you note that was an intentional selection for your card!). Do they have a dog? Add a cute dog treat - they'll appreciate this simple gesture that you really took the time to think about them specifically and what they care about.
